Milk Source was co-founded in 1999 by Jim Ostrom, John Vosters and Todd Willer and traces its roots back to 1965 when a small 30-cow dairy farm was started in Kaukauna by John's parents.
Its original site, Tidy View Dairy, has been joined by: Omro Dairy, purchased in 1999; MilkSource Genetics, which opened in 2007, with 50 show cows; Rosendale Dairy, which began operation in November 2008; and New Chester Dairy, scheduled to begin operation in Spring of 2012. Milk Source also operates Calf Source, a dairy-calf farm in Greenleaf, Wis.
