Dairy Update
On October 18, 2010, the New Chester Town Board, by unanimous vote, approved the Conditional Use Permit for New Chester Dairy.
On November 3, 2010, the Adams County Planning Commission, by unanimous vote, approved the Conditional Use Permit for New Chester Dairy.
On November 17, 2010, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources issued a stormwater permit to New Chester Dairy.
On December 28, 2010, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources issued a preliminary approval of the Nutrient Management Plan for New Chester Dairy.
On January 11, 2011, Adams County Land and Water Conservation Dept. issued New Chester Dairy an animal manure storage permit.
On January 19, 2011, The DNR held a public hearing at Grand Marsh Town Hall to hear public input on its decision to approval the permit for New Chester Dairy.
On February 2, 2011,The DNR issued the WPDES permit for New Chester Dairy.
On March 11, 2011,The DNR issued the high-capacity well permit for New Chester Dairy.
On May 3, 2011, Adams County issued a building permit to New Chester Dairy.

On June 28, 2011, ground is broken on the 4,300-cow New Chester Dairy.
In July, 2011, grading work is underway.
On August, 2011,the first concrete is poured.
On September, 2011, the foundation for the barn and commodities shed is poured.
In October, 2011, the operations shed is erected.
On November, 2011,the barn begins to be raised
On December, 2011, the roof of the barn starts taking shape and Milk Source applies for permit modification. |
