Omro Dairy will be hosting the 2017 Winnebago County Dairy Breakfast on the Farm on Sat., June 10, and we can offer a “sneak peek” of some of the entertainment and education attractions that will be there.
In addition to touring one of the most vibrant Jersey Cow herds in northeast Wisconsin, guests will enjoy …
— New and antique tractors
— Butter and ice cream making
— Meet the animals
— Agricultural sustainability exhibits
The breakfast, served from 8 a.m. to noon, will feature scrambled with the fixin’s, sausage, pancakes, cheese, milk, fruit, coffee and ice cream. Breakfast prices will be $7 for adults, $3 for children ages 4-11, and free for children 3 and younger.
The mission of the breakfast is to enhance rural and urban understanding through dairy education, activities and promotion. Money raised by the Breakfast on the Farm promotes agricultural education in Winnebago County schools, Winnebago County’s Ag in the Classroom efforts, and in other dairy programs throughout the year.
