Shop Mechanic, Equipment Operator, & Irrigation Technician

Salary: $18 - $23 hour

Overall Responsibilities: Tillage and planting with a modern fleet of equipment; well and pivot repair, along with various other tasks depending on the season. Normal hours are Monday to Friday 7 am - 4:30 pm.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain and Repair field and irrigation equipment
Communicate and coordinate with farm manager regarding work flow scheduling and field preparation
Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Other duties as required and assigned

Skills & Attributes:

Have large tractor driving experience with modern implements
Experienced following a preventive maintenance plan on multiple types of equipment
Are comfortable with longer hours involved in peak season farming operations
Have knowledge of basic electrical trouble shooting
Are willing to learn
Dependable and able to prioritize competing priorities
Acute attention to detail
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results
